Friday Favorites! (June Edition)
We are so excited to be back again doing the SECOND installment of our Friday Favorites blog series! We just got back from exhibiting at the Premiere Beauty Show this past weekend, and let’s just say, all of the of the products, people, and talent at the show was out of this world! The atmosphere was alive with energy, and it radiated through everyone. We had a great time connecting with our booth neighbors, walking the show floor, and of course, meeting new Mavi customers and re-connecting with current customers.
This edition of Friday Favorites will include items we have discovered this past month as well as a special shoutout to a friend we met a year ago. We hope you enjoy! :)
1. Favorite Activewear Line: Cleo Harper Activewear
We found this gem of an activewear company through Instagram while trying to gain inspiration to workout (we all need a little inspiration some days)! The Alexa bralet from their line caught our eye immediately because of the overall design and fun mix of colors. This activewear brand has a huge following on Instagram, is made for women who dance, run, swim, pilates, go to the gym, and overall love fitness! 2. Favorite All-Natural Product: Honestly Margo All-Natural Lip Balm
What were you doing at 12 years old? Well, if you were Margo from Honestly Margo Lip Balms you were starting your own business from the ground up! We met this young entrepreneur last year in Atlanta and wow, what a doll! Now 15, Margo has expanded her line to include body balms, sells all of her products online, and even is featured in magazines across the country. 3. Favorite Tech Accessories Print: Marble
We have noticed a HUGE trend in the tech accessories world: MARBLE! Not only does the marble print look super luxurious, marble-printed products are not insanely expensive. A member of the Mavi Squad recently bought this Mac Marble case for under $25!
We also are loving the marble and stone phone cases from Casetify! They are only $40!
4. Favorite “I’d never eat this but OMG does it look good… maybe on Cheat Day” Moment:
Last week while scrolling through the ever so popular Facebook page “Tasty” (where they post daily mini snippet videos of delicious recipes), we came across a game changer. It was the video for the “Mozzerella Stick Onion Rings.” The video had us drooling, to say the least. Tasty is not known for their healthy recipes, but this one we may have to try on cheat day. Let’s all take a moment to appreciate whoever came up with this recipe, and look forward to our dreams about this amazing hybrid junk food.

How cute is the DIY Clothespin Headband holder? And, it’s a simple DIY project, too! All you need is a distressed piece of wood, clothespins, white paint, glitter (if you would like to add a little glam to the clothespins), and wood glue. Paint the clothespins white, let them dry, and then with wood glue, attached them to the wooden pallet, and viola; your own DIY Mavi Bandz Headband Holder.
